Winters Raspy Voice
I wish I could say this is a song about a distant wintery memory, and though I wrote and recorded it this winter, I’m posting it now because it’s there’s still traces of winter everywhere. Kind of ridiculous, but, to be expected.
Strides of a Dying Antelope
This song is exactly what the title says it is about.
Thunderbolt
This song is kind of silly. I asked someone once what this song should be called, and if it should have lyrics, the reply was “Yes! Thunderbolt!”
And that’s the story of how this song came to exist.
If you’re wondering, “Are these lyrics supposed to be hilarious?” the answer is yes!
In the Skies at War demo
This is a song that will sound familiar if you saw my earlier video where I showed a practice routine I do. I got such positive response that I worked on it as a song proper, and though recorded poorly through an amp and a video camera, this audio will have to do until I can record it properly.
This song completes the story of the Husk Glider, and I’m sad to report it doesn’t end well. It’s mostly about the journey though, isn’t it?
Bombay Chai
Last spring, I went on a tea date with a most beautiful woman, which ended up lasting about 6 and a half hours. I wrote, and recorded this song as soon as I got home, sending it to her not much longer after that. Originally it had lyrics, but I’ve since fired them into the sun on a rocket made of a million discarded thesaurus’. It’s much better now that it isn’t hindered by my words.
The Fox in the Flowers - Discography ›
At long last I’ve got all my albums up and available for individual download. I’m also working on some place where you can stream it all first to see what, if any, you want to download.
I’ve had a couple people test the zip files, and they seem to be working on both Windows and Mac, but please let me know if you have trouble with any of them and I’ll get it fixed straight away!
Our Lost Patrol
This is a song about a colony of prairie dogs.
The patrol in question, I can tell you, was met with peril.
Bluebird and the Wolf
This song is about my brother and his wife to be, told in some kind of confusing allegory. If you like it, you can download it and the rest of the album from here on the “Perched on a Hill” album.
Anywhere the Wind Goes
Exile of the Downtrodden
Nothing at all to do with this song, but I would really appreciate if winter would hurry along and get out of here.
